On August 29, 2024, Michael was recognized for his hard work and dedication during the Volunteer Recognition Dinner hosted by Phipps Conservatory. Alongside several other dedicated volunteers, Michael was acknowledged for the exceptional contributions he has made, particularly at the Phipps Garden Center located in Mellon Park, where he volunteers under the guidance of Nikki, his supervisor.

Michael's passion for gardening and his extensive knowledge have not only made him a valuable member of the Phipps team but have also earned him the appreciation and respect of the staff. His commitment and enthusiasm are evident in everything he does, and it's clear that he genuinely enjoys being part of the Phipps family.

Looking ahead, Michael has set his sights on a new goal: enrolling in the Master Gardening program at Phipps this fall or spring. This is a testament to his dedication to his craft and his desire to continue growing and learning in the field he loves.
